Today, I’d like to ask you: Do you think that losing weight will heal your depression?
There’s no doubt about it—eating healthier and the endorphins you get from exercising will, in fact, make you feel better temporarily. It will give you a little more energy and put more pep in your step. Even losing weight—shedding some pounds will help you develop more confidence in yourself and feel like you’re making progress in life.
But it’s also imperative that you focus on your mindset, emotional intelligence, supplementing with vitamins and minerals that are going to help you boost your mood. Such as: vitamin d3, iron, b12, so on and so forth.
You also want to make sure that if you are taking medication for depression, continue it. And continue your therapy sessions. You should never give up your medication or therapy sessions because you decide to go on a diet and exercise. Please consult your doctor before doing so.
